Dr Helen Stallman provides evidence-based psychological treatments to adults only.
All services are provided by telehealth. We will send you a link to access your session via email to enable you to attend your session.
People can access treatment with or without a Medicare rebate, however, if you want to claim a Medicare rebate for your treatment, we need to receive your GP Mental Health Plan before your appointment.
Assessment & Treatment
A comprehensive assessment helps us understand your problem and overall health and wellbeing. An individual treatment plan will then be developed collaboratively with you. Treatments provided are evidence-based, meaning high-quality research has demonstrated that the intervention effectively reduces the problem you are having.
The fee for a 50 minute session is $300 per session. Medicare rebates may be available.
All services are provided via telehealth. We will send you a link to access your session via email.
The standard treatment session is 50 minutes.
Group program sessions run for 60 minutes each.
Treatment is tailored to the needs of each person. Dr Helen Stallman will discuss the estimated treatment duration when developing the treatment plan with you.

We try to provide services as soon as possible. However, the need for services sometimes exceeds our capacity to deliver services. If you can’t find an appointment that suits you, please telephone us. We’ll put your name on our waitlist and let you know as soon as an appointment becomes available.
If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment, please telephone to cancel as soon as possible. You can do this online using the link in your confirmation email, or by telephone. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the appointment. Later cancellations incur a cancellation fee.
Referrals are not needed, however, to obtain a Medicare Rebate we need to receive a referral from your doctor and a copy of your Mental Health Treatment Plan before the session.
OTHER NEEDS
Dr Stallman only works with adults via telehealth. If you need other services, including in-person treatment or services for a child, use the APS Find a Psychologist service to find someone who may be able to assist you.
